Built from timber harvested in the local forest, fired with wood from the valley, and offering panoramic views into one of Norway’s most dramatic landscapes – the floating sauna at Lidasanden brings you warmth, immersion, and freedom that no urban spa can match.
Floating Sauna on Oppstrynvatnet
Shared Sauna – you share the sauna with others.
The duration is 1.5 hours, including time before and after your session for changing, etc.
The sauna has a capacity of 15 people.
The shared sauna is open to guests aged 12 and up. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Opening hours for shared sauna, Wednesday to Saturday:
12:00–13:30
14:00–15:30
16:00–17:30
18:00–19:30

Price: NOK 525 per person.
This includes a small towel to sit on and water.
A larger towel for swimming (and yes, you will want to swim!) can be rented on site for NOK 75.
Upon arrival, we’ll meet you and explain how everything works.

- Towel for swimming (can be rented from us)
- Bag for wet clothes
- Remember: jewelry can get very hot, so we recommend taking it off.
